What Mallport’s internal business review means — and what it doesn’t guarantee.

A Verified seller badge means Mallport has completed an internal review of the seller’s business profile (for example business name and registration details you can see on their public profile where provided).

What it indicates

  • The account is registered as a business seller and has been checked by Mallport staff against the information supplied.
  • It is a platform trust signal to help buyers spot sellers who have been through our verification process.

Listing types (products and services)

Sellers can mark a listing as primarily goods (a product) or a service (for example delivery, machinery hire, or advice). That choice helps buyers filter search results; it should be accurate and not misleading. Mallport does not independently certify each listing type.

What it is not

  • Not a government, statutory, or regulatory endorsement.
  • Not a guarantee of product quality, organic status, or legal compliance of individual listings — buyers should still use their own judgement and ask sellers when unsure.
  • Not a substitute for professional advice (food safety, contracts, etc.).

Sellers may choose to hide the badge on a specific listing while keeping their account verified; the listing page will not show the badge in that case.
